Frequently asked questions


Q- What is the price for an inspection?     A- The price depends on several factors including: square footage of the home/property, type of foundation, age & others. To get a quote for your inspection feel free to click here.

Q- How do you schedule an inspection?     A- The best way is to click here. You can also call (972-814-2882) or sending HDR an email (info@homedoneright.com). Please note that we try to fit every inspection in the first 1-3 days of your request. 

Q- What to expect when you call for an inspection?     A- You'll be greeted by a professional & friendly operator who will be asking you several questions regarding the home including: the address, age of the home, square footage & others. Then you will be given a price & some scheduling options for your inspection. Next you get to sit back & relax while we work on lining up all the details & send you a confirmation email. Then we meet at the inspection! 

Q- What happens at the inspection?      A- To start, we show up & do all the work! We value your time & don't want you to feel the need to come for the entire 2-4 hours that the inspection will take. However, if you'd like to walk around & see the home again you're welcome to come at any point during the inspection. Towards the end however, we'd love for you to be at the home to have the walk-through with the inspector. This is where you will hear his findings, ask questions & gain perspective on the deficiencies of the home. 

Q- When do you get the report?     A- You always get the report the same day (or night) as the inspection. Now, to be fair sometimes the reports are sent out late in the evening depending on when the last inspection is scheduled. But its always sent out the same day. 

Q- How & when do you pay for the inspection?      A-  For most inspections payment is handled at the home during the walk-through. You can pay with checks (most common method) or cash. 

Q- What is covered in the inspection?     A- We look at a long list of items in the home including: foundation, roof, HVAC equipment, electrical systems, plumbing systems, kitchen appliances, sprinkler systems, pool & spas, doors, windows, fireplaces & many more! Q- Where does Home Done Right inspect?     A- The entire DFW metroplex. We're like a one stop shop!

Q- Is Home Done Right licensed & insured?     A- Well you almost got out of this without asking a boring question. It's ok, we forgive you. We are actually so proud of our license that we display it on the bottom of all the pages on the website. If you want to know what it is, here you go: TREC # 20906. Its a hard license to get & even harder to maintain. Now our insurance, which we have plenty of, is not something we brag about. It's like bragging about taxes, blah!
